Class Descriptions


All class descriptions offer an overview of what to expect in class as well as provides a level to help you decide which class best fits your practice level. Bliss All Level requires no previous yoga experience. Bliss Intermediate Level is an intermediate level class. We invite all levels to join, but some previous experience is helpful. Bliss Advanced Level classes encourage you to have previous yoga experience or a consistent comfortable practice.

Class Descriptions

Awakening Vinyasa

Awakening Yoga is a progressive practice style created by Patrick Beach.  Rooted in hatha vinyasa, this yoga style builds functional strength, increases mobility, and creates flexibility.  Classes are fluid and vigorous, with an emphasis on accessible and creative movement patterns for modern bodies. Beginner's Yoga

This class is designed to introduce Yoga to those with limited or no experience. If you’re a beginner in Yoga or haven’t practiced in awhile, start here! In this class, you will learn the basics of Yoga, breath work, postures and alignment and see how all of these combined will help you on your journey to more focus, balance, strength and flexibility. Bliss Basics

Have you been to Beginner’s Yoga, ready for a little more, but not ready for Vinyasa? This is the class! Bliss Basics is perfect for those newer to yoga and who want to practice with the basics.  Class will incorporate breathing techniques, practice alignment in common yoga postures, move at a slower flow pace, and introduce postures you may not learn in your first beginner’s class. Blissed Out

Get ready to relax from the chaos of daily life and find your blissful center. Class is a blend of seated and reclined Restorative and Yin yoga postures with self massage via Therapy Balls. Various yoga props are used to support our postures so total relaxation can be obtained and specific areas will be targeted for deep stretch and massage. Breath work and mindfulness techniques are explored to round out the experience of release. You will leave feeling completely Blissed Out! This class is appropriate for all levels, even those without any yoga experience. Bliss All Levels.

Blissful Flow

A slower paced Vinyasa class with more emphasis to move meditatively with the breath. The practice involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of postures and is a great class to focus on the posture as it settles into the body, as well as a focus on stretching, relaxing, and adding meditation into your practice. Bliss All Levels.

Chakra Flow

Connect to your physical body and energy body through this chakra inspired class. A combination of Vinyasa flows and Yin postures will be practiced to help channel confidence, creativity, and bring balance to the chakra system. Class may include pranayama, meditation, and the use of stones and aromatherapy. Bliss All Levels.

Community Yoga

Our Community Yoga class is a wonderful opportunity to explore the practice of yoga and get to know the community at Bliss Yoga Studios. This vinyasa flow class is appropriate for all levels, from beginner to more intermediate, as options are presented for everyone. Class will work through yoga postures that are energizing, yet centering, and will end with an opportunity to connect deeper through relaxation. Bliss All Levels.

**Our weekly Community Yoga class is always FREE to attend in honor of our commitment to providing access for all to a safe and welcoming environment to experience the practice of yoga.

Gentle Flow

This class is designed for beginners through intermediate students that are looking for slower paced movement while focusing on stretching and relaxing. In Gentle Flow, you’ll be guided through basic poses using props to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. This class is great for students looking for a more gentle experience, those who are new to yoga, or those that may be taking care of injuries and experience some limitations. Bliss All Levels.

Guided Meditation

Meditation is a simple yet profound practice that offers a deep sense of relief and renewal for all. This class explores different approaches to meditation, from breath to mantra to mindfulness and more! Whether you are new to meditation or have been sitting in lotus position for decades, you will benefit in your own way from practicing meditation and re-centering in your truest self.  Bliss All Levels.

Lunar Prana Vinyasa ®

Lunar Prana Vinyasa® practices are offered on or around the full moon each month. Classes still contain flowing postures and creative sequencing, but with a slower rhythm. The intention is to create a space where you can connect deeply within and nourish your body, mind and spirit through your yoga practice. Poses are often held for a longer period of time and subtler practices like breathwork and meditation are explored. Bliss All Levels.

Power & Restore

This specialty class is the perfect combo for any yogi looking to challenge and deepen their practice. The first 40 minutes of class will be dedicated to a Power Vinyasa flow intended to build strength, balance and to develop mental and physical stamina. The final 20 minutes of class will be a Restorative approach to yoga where the practice will slow down, include deeper stretching, and to have an opportunity for a longer meditative final relaxation. First part of class is vigorous but options are presented for all levels. Bliss Intermediate Level.

Prana Vinyasa ®

Prana Flow Vinyasa® is a creative, energetic and dynamic methodology of embodying the essence of yoga as created by internationally renowned teacher, Shiva Rea. Classes include flowing postures, creative sequencing, breath work and meditation that guide us deeper into the state of flow. The core of Prana Flow Vinyasa® is the 3 part Vinyasa method which incorporates Pulsation Vinyasas, Body Vinyasas and Rhythmic Vinyasas. These techniques allow us to explore the energetic movements of Prana within our body, connect with our breath and liberate our mind from tension and stress.  Practice is vigorous but options are presented for all levels. Bliss Intermediate Level.

Slow Flow & Restore

Slow down the flow and enjoy an unhurried breath lead movement class allowing a fuller awakening of the body and clearing of the mind. Explore the details of each posture at a mindful pace to allow your body to deepen into the experience of the pose. Enjoy both strength building postures and restorative postures to bring ultimate harmony to your body and mind. Bliss All Levels.
